Excellent song you have going here! I like all the sounds you used for it! The reverb on the kick was a nice touch, and just... the whole piece was well strung together. Great job, man! Keep up the great work!

I like the way the synth sounds, and the delay/reverb you added to it. How the synth cuts off with no sustenance sounds really cool. The tune is pretty catchy, but the drums are too simple. Maybe if you added some percussion, claps, or something else, it would make your song more enjoyable. Great job, though! Keep it up!

haha thank you I actually only threw in the hi hats to keep time a litle better and most of the time I have someone else do drum beats because I'm more of the lead synth but thanks again

Nice job with everything. You certainly know how to make sounds crisp and clean! I really like the way the instruments sound. Awesome show, great job! Ha ha. Naw, really, keep the excellent work!

Thanks dud, glad you liked it.
Thx for the review!

This has got an old groove to it, and I'm attracted to that. However, the voice work sort of fails at times. It sounds nice sometimes, other times it is off by a few semitones. Still, the song in general is great. Few things need working on, and that is it. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Ka'eo
Thank you. It does need need a little work.

I'm not so fond of that 'default FL Studio' sound, and this song has it in it. If you can find some way to improve the song using a variation of mixer effects or just by twisting some knobs to better the drums, then this song would be that much better. Good luck with your album, and keep working at it!
Sincerely,
Ka'eo
Haha, I've gotten a lot better since then. Thanks for the review :)

Could the original really be much better than this?! My only gripe about this is that the song is somewhat short, but that's ok. You kept it pretty interesting for a while, but what sticks out here is the epic mixing quality. Keep up the great work!

Ka'eo
Good beat!
I'm really digging the use of oldies, but the song could still use some touching up. There are parts of the song where it seems like there is just a random burst of unnecessary sound. Mainly, that would be the little fanfare at the end of the big break. I love the sweet sounding voice in the background, and the little keyboard, but some of it just throws me off. Still, you did some great work here. Very nice! Keep it up!
Sincerely,
Ka'eo
Thanks. Yea the fanfare does throw it off a lil bit. But I think its only the first one that is a LITTLE bit off. I should also maybe turn it down a lil bit on the fanfare. A lil touch up here and there will make the beat just rite too.
Peace out mann.

This is oh so great! Must you have gone deaf throughout this project, hearing only the clicks and sounds, but not the beauty, recognizing the computerized pattern more than the dynamic music flow? Anyways, you don't have to answer that. This song is entertaining through and through, and I recommend it to any type of listener.
The only reason I gave you a 9/10 instead of a full 10/10 is because I think levels could have been adjusted better to a degree. High frequencies came in too much at times, making for a snap-crackle-pop in my Sennheisers. Don't let this get you down, though, since these headphones I have are known to display the truth behind an average song's mixing, which can massacre a song you've once enjoyed on the boom box.
Moving on, you still did an excellent job with build-ups, melodies (at times), and panning. I liked the variation. The best part of the song, however, is the constant beat itself mixed in with the perfectly placed percussion. Many thanks for this masterpiece! Keep up the damn good work, my friend!

Actually, I kind of like this. This is a well-balanced song, in my opinion. The bass is pounding, the snares and hi-hats are where they need to be... there is much variation between lines, and the little voice effects are a nice touch, as well. So, keep up the good work, my friend! You did well!
Take care,
Ka'eo
cheers buddy, reviewmy new stuff :) AMEN EVOL has pounding bass, but FEAR doesn't (however it is pretty good)
