It was very hard to listen to with all the 'fumbles' that weren't exactly slight.
The song did get a little better around 2:25, however. You know how to play it, just not very well. I mean, don't stop working on it, but improve your methods of playing and try your best to stay within whatever tempo you've set, if any. You should try using a metronome, which really does help! It just takes practice to keep what you're playing quantized. Anyways, take care of yourself, and keep up the playing! No hard feelings from this review, right?

Extremely trippy song, in my opinion. The only thing that I could have done without was those piano sounds you used. Everything else was composed really well, and sounded strangely cool. Keep it up.

Excellent song. I really enjoyed the relaxing tune and bass. When the bass reaches higher pitches, however, it gets really loud and ruins that part of the song to an extent. That's the only thing I noticed about this song. Still yet, this is such a cool 'remix' of a famous song. Keep it the great work, my friend!

Really strange and original. It's pretty strange and cool how you arranged it. I like the double kicks (or delayed kicks) that you brought in near the beginning. I also like the steel drum you used. Everything still sounds generally repetitive, and there isn't much else to this song. Maybe at some point, you should try to switch to a different melody. Create a long melody that travels far and wide, not just short and over and over again. Know what I mean? Keep it up.

Strange and original? Thats a review I haven't heard yet :D The double kicks I think was what really made it sounds like something listenable Thanks for the review! But what was strange about it? o_o

I'll be very honest with you here. You seriously could have done better, like with your other pieces. This song is so repetitious and irritating, it's hard to envision anything. The harpsichord is loud and doesn't travel very far. Maybe you could add a little more to the melody than by just making it motif-like. I used to do that a lot in FL Studio... make looping melodies which became something that sounded very overused. I'd like you to keep trying, and don't stop!

Still, just like the other, not as good or moving. I really do like it, but not enough. The pads sound great, and the little bass notes you put in, but it generally sounds very raw and empty. You could have added a little reverb to the pad to create better atmosphere. That could rejuvenate your music. Start messing around with the mixer. Anyways, keep trying!

SonicJ responds:

Yea, still messing with the basics. As you can see, im generally getting somewhere though :3
So uh, how would I use this "reverb"?

I didn't like this one as much because another template was used, and on top of that it's a bit more repetitive (i.e. bassline.) The synth motif that played off-key was what I really liked about this song, besides the sound of the well-made percussion loop template. It still sounds good, but isn't very original. Keep trying.

SonicJ responds:

Darn it, whats a motif?! Yea, I know people are generally unhappy with my choice of the drum synth thing, Buy thanks for the review.

Not bad, SonicJ. I like how it starts off, but I can tell you had the pad repeating itself in each new bar. Also, when you brought in that bassy-wow-wow-noise, I could tell you were definitely using FL Studio. Still, it sounds good. Keep practicing.

SonicJ responds:

I lol'ed when I read "that bassy-wow-wow noise" About that pad repeating, I wanted it to sound like that because on each bar I wanted to hear the beging of the pad again. Otherwise I would have heard the same backgrounds humming pad on one note :\

Finally, someone in this genre to earn a 10 out of 10 from me. The background sample taken was used masterfully with the beat, and the drums you selected were really good. I like the stutter beat track you implemented, as it makes a nice touch to the song, however it got a little too repetitive. Also, I'm going to have to say that the song in the background gets distorted at high levels, or sounds like it's ripping through my speakers. Everything is fine until it hits a high level. Don't let that get your song down, you've earned my 10 out of 10, and that is a lot of respect, my friend! Keep up the damn good work!

This sounds VERY nice. I love the background song you used, and how you brought in the beat. It's a very underground hip-hop-ish song. It would sound much better with lyrics on it! Think about that! =]
