I didn't like this one as much because another template was used, and on top of that it's a bit more repetitive (i.e. bassline.) The synth motif that played off-key was what I really liked about this song, besides the sound of the well-made percussion loop template. It still sounds good, but isn't very original. Keep trying.

Not bad, SonicJ. I like how it starts off, but I can tell you had the pad repeating itself in each new bar. Also, when you brought in that bassy-wow-wow-noise, I could tell you were definitely using FL Studio. Still, it sounds good. Keep practicing.

I lol'ed when I read "that bassy-wow-wow noise" About that pad repeating, I wanted it to sound like that because on each bar I wanted to hear the beging of the pad again. Otherwise I would have heard the same backgrounds humming pad on one note :\

This sounds VERY nice. I love the background song you used, and how you brought in the beat. It's a very underground hip-hop-ish song. It would sound much better with lyrics on it! Think about that! =]

This is a simply amazing beat. I love the violin in the background, which gives it such fullness. I can tell you really worked on this. What I ended up not liking as the song went on was that lead sine synth you had that was kind of portamento. The samples covered for it though. Anyways, I have nothing more to say here, except you did a tremendously good job on this. Keep up the great work, my friend! Welcome to the top charts!

This reminds me entirely of Silent Hill. I love this piece, because it has that epic horror-film theme in it. Make a longer version, please, and in that version leave out a melody. The sound is great! Keep it up!

I can see how your friends like this song, and I did too somewhat. It sounds too much like every other default trance song I've heard though. There isn't really anything new in this. You've got the trance feel down, but now you need to make it original, not just use the same instruments as all the others. You've got great potential, however, and it would be sad if this review discouraged you. You still did a good job with the song, don't get me wrong. So, keep up the good work! =]

I know what you mean. I've deleted all my older songs cause they all sucked, but I remember the one review that really got to me. He said "make all your music the way people like it, don't do something just cause you think it sounds good." And with this song I tried to make the generic, what people liked, ya know? But I'll definitely be making some more original things in the future, remember to check back :D

Well done, my friend! This preview was very good! However, the cymbals don't need to be used as much. Or, you should have another cymbal turned down a little to use for the filling. Good job, anyhow! Keep it up!

I actually enjoyed the sweetness of this tune. The strings were a good touch. The cello is a bit loud in the beginning, but the sound effects helped it. Next draft, turn down the snare a bit, and make it more background-ish as a support rather than a lead. The solo violin was very appropriate for this song, and gave it a melody. Overall, good work! You definitely have potential as a future artist and composer. Just keep working on it. You're getting there! Good job!

Also, add a little reverb to some of the instruments to give it atmosphere. That's what it is missing.

I liked where the song was going, but then it became too repetitious. Also, the "138 In Progress" sample is well-known throughout the FL Studio community. Again, like the recently submitted song, use more variety! He he. I'll cut you slack, though, since this is old. Just don't stop composing, please. We need more composers like you who have good ideas. Just come up with better ones. =]

For the time being, thats all I had to work with :\ Im using fl studio 7, and in mu humble opinion doesn't seems to cover as much ground as far as sounds it came with. would you happen to know where I could download the demo version of fl studio 6? Also a person like me would need people like you :D

Yet again, another masterful piece. Have you taken composition classes, read tutorials, or just learned through trial and error? How long have you been making music? I seriously must ask because your artworks are tremendously appealing to my ears. Its very professional, and I think you should really get into the music business with what you've done. Your latest submission is a little better than this, but they're both equally stunning. This is pro. Excellent work, indeed.

Actually, most of them started of with a "I feel like making this sort of song" and then it turned into a song...eventually. I do go to choral classes at my school and my dad is a musician so I get a lot of help to know what sounds good. I've got a couple other songs as well, so I might post some of them.
