Pretty good song, but like the reviewer below said, that "eee" wave which sounds a little bit like a triangle has to go... or at least find a lower-pitched sound, because it is harsh on the ears, even or especially with good speakers. Anyways, I like the guitar riffs you have going on here, and the drums go well with it. But maybe you could also vary the drums a little bit more. I know, this is kind of a low score, and after getting past the triangle, I would have upped you by a point, by the rest of the song is very repetitive... without vocals. Get some vocals in there, and it would probably be a lot better. Keep it up.

Like I said, I lose some quality when I put my songs up on Newgrounds. It doesn't sound as shrill on my myspace.
And vocals are still being figured out. I'm not much of a singer myself, and am having trouble finding someone to work with. Thanks for the comment though!

This is art! This is man's themesong! This... is... METAL! *kicks guy into big hole*

Seriously, this song is kick ass! I don't know how you do it, but it is done, and it is great! This loop at first reminded me of Dragon Ball Z because of the drums. The kick-snare-kick-snare format is usually what does that when heard in a metal song. Anyways, you did a mighty fine job, and I have nothing else to say except to keep up the awesome work!

Absolutely bluesy. This definitely deserves my 10/10 for being such a true-to-heart blues song. I rarely hear this type of music on this website, but it certainly is appreciated! Keep up the awesome work!

I love it! This song is a classic, and you gave it an electro-outfit! Ingenious use of instruments and phasing technology. This is just one of those good remixes that you come across from time to time on the audio portal here. Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to more interesting music from you.

P.S. The Rolling Stones FTW.

This is a pretty neat song, but not all that original, and quite bare. Of course, you have excuse by saying that you made it under and hour while talking to your girlfriend on AIM. With your small setbacks aside, the tune is pretty strong, and the beat is pretty good. I personally don't like the beat changing from its housey 4/4, but again, that's just personal taste for this song in particular.

Maybe you could fill up this song a little more, or improve it, because it sounds like it has some great potential Spice it up and send it back here so I can review it once again. Anyways, keep up the good work!

Thank you for the consideration. Most people would just sit down and go.......REPETATIVE.......3/10. I'm glad to see that some people realize that even the simple things in life are also good no matter how long it took to be made. My only regret is that I can reward your kindness, because there aren't many people left in the world with a mind set of yours ^_^

P.S. I plan on "Finishing" this eventually

For such a strange title, this sure is a great song! It sounds so mechanical and complex, and it's really rejuvenating in a way. It reminds me of Sim City, or The Sims 2, or Tekken 3... like King's stage... and it gets even better. It also reminds me of a traveling city scape, or a partying atmosphere. Even like an underwater laboratory level found in Timesplitters. It's really innovative and cool. It's hard for me to categorize it. I just won't bother with that. Anyways, great song! Keep up the damn good work!

thanks for the great review. did i just get compared to tekken? badass.

Actually, I really like it. It kind of reminds me of a menu for games like Unreal Tournament, FarCry, or a Command & Conquer game. Whenever songs make me reminisce, they usually immediately get at least a 3/5 from me. However, this song, repetitive or not, still sounds good the way it is. I'm not sure why you would want to differentiate this song anymore, because it would lose its "foundry" feel, I'd think. So, just keep up the good work! I can't wait to hear more!

Ah, good memories! Don't be ashamed that you used eJay! That's what got ME started on my musical journey of creation! I remember first using Dance eJay 4, I believe, which was the one with the multi-colored flower power type of interface. Anyways, this still sounds really good. I like it a lot, even for presets. It's just very calm and soothing. I hope your new stuff is even better!

HexMonkey responds:

Thanks. I remember dance ejay 4. I accidently cracked the disk. Good times :P

Wow! This is just a... phenomenal piece! It's beautiful, and very well done for a remix. The sound is professional quality, if not almost. There's nothing else I can really say but good job, and keep up the damn good work!

Take care,
Ka'eo

DJ-Nightmare responds:

Thanks a bunch man. Glad to hear it sounds professional.
